Welcome to AV Electronics Marketing Headphone Review Score. Here you can find explanation on how our scoring system works as well as the total score of the headphone that we have review so far. The reviews of these individual headphone is available in our Youtube and Facebook.
Our review score is an average score after taken from 3 age brackets individual. We have inputs taken from TS Wong with age bracket of 20+ years old, Eric with age bracket of 30+ years old and Andy with age bracket of 50+ years old. With inputs from multigenerational individual, we can present you a general score that may suits the masses.
Our scoring system is based on RELATIVITY. Because there are many better headphones in the market and there are worse headphone in the market, we have decided no limit in the scoring. The first episode feature two model of headphones which are Behringer HPM1000 and Behringer HPX6000. The score given by them are relative to each other while leaving headroom of lower score and higher score should we have more new models to be review in future.
We have divided into category in our scoring system so all features of interests will be explore. These category are the headphone's comfort, noise isolation, build quality, outlook design, sound quality and price to value ratio. The comfort category will explore how well it fit in the head and ears as well as how long we able are to wear it without ache. Noise isolation explore how well the headphone and its cub is designed to filter the background noise out from the listening pleasure. Build quality will explore about the material, the handling feels and the "premium feel". Outlook design will explore the cosmetic look. Sound quality on the other hand will be divided in the few categories such as overall sound quality, hi frequencies, mid frequencies and low frequencies. Here it might a bit complicated because the frequencies performance does not tied to the overall sound quality. In certain scenario, a lack in bass may give able to give an overall pleasant experience. Zooming in to particular frequencies performance does not guarantee the headphone sounds good thou. Finally, the price to value ration is our perceived value or features received with the money paid. This is a relative score as the mediocre headphone will score high if its price is very low. Very high quality headphone may score very low if the price is over the top.
With all score given above, we will add all together to get our final scoring. The table below are the score of the headphone that we have reviewed.
